Three Cross Country Runners Named CCS Runners of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. - Three Huntingdon Cross Country members have been recognized by their efforts this past weekend in the Hawk 5K and earned CCS Honors.

Collegiate Conference of the South Runners of the Week:

Kate Smith - Smith led the Huntingdon women's cross country team with a first-place finish and time of 22:04.3 in the Hawk 5K that helped boost her team to a first place finish as well.

Mac Brooks - Brooks led the Huntingdon men's cross country team with a first-place finish of his own and set his course record with a time of 16:22.5 in the Hawk 5K.

Collegiate Conference of the South Rookie of the Week:

Michaela Moore - Moore finished third overall in the Hawk 5K with a time of 23:14.3.
