Two Hawks Earn USA South Honors
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Two Hawks Football Players have earned USA South Honors from their appearances against Guilford.
Football Offensive Player of the Week
Carson Daniel, Huntingdon - The senior quarterback from Killen, Alabama accounted for two Huntingdon touchdowns in a 40-14 win over Guilford last week. Through the air, Daniel was 14-of-19 for 204 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Daniel carried the ball three times for four yards and one score.
Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Antojuan Woody, Huntingdon - The freshman wide receiver from Camp Hill, Alabama scored two touchdowns, one through the air and one on the ground, in a 40-14 win over Guilford. Woody caught two passes for 67 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown. On the ground, Woody scored on a 17-yard scamper, his only rush attempt on the day.
The Hawks open up USA South play this weekend at LaGrange College, game time set for 12:00 PM CT.
