Valldeperas Named CCS Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. - Izzy Valldeperas of Huntingdon Volleyball has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South player of the week for her performances last week.

Valldeperas led the Hawks to a 2-2 record with a .291 hitting percentage over four games. In a three-set win over LaGrange, the junior middle hitter posted eight kills, six digs, and a block and an ace. In a 5-set thriller against MUW, the Georgia native posted a double-double with 18 kills and 22 digs. Adding three blocks and an ace.

The Hawks finished the week with a win over Piedmont and a loss to Berea where she had nine kills each game. On the week, she finished with 60 digs, 44 kills, seven aces, and six blocks.  

She is the first CCS Player of the Week for the Hawks this season.
