Jon Harrelson joined the Huntingdon coaching staff in 2017 as the running backs and H-backs coach.

A four-year player and two-time USA South All-Academic selection, Harrelson was part of back-to-back conference championships with Huntingdon in 2015 and 2016.

During his senior season, Harrelson started on an offensive line that paved the way for an offensive unit that was third in Division III in total offense with 543.9 yards per game, eighth with 45.3 points per game and tied for 11th with nine sacks allowed in 11 games.

The offense also set Huntingdon records with 2,960 rushing yards, 35 rushing touchdowns, 33 passing touchdowns, 5,983 yards of total offense and 498 points scored in a season.

Harrelson earned his bachelor’s degree in history.

He is the son of Quincey Harrelson. He has one brother, Quincey Jr., and three sisters, Abbie, Allie and Amber.
