2010: Participated on the Hawks’ Junior JV team as a freshman.

Prep: Lettered in baseball for four years at Boaz High School… was an All-County and All-Area selection as a senior… helped the Pirates to two area championships and three county championships… also lettered in football for four seasons and basketball for three years … set a school record with 16 pass break ups as a senior … was a two-time All-County selection in football … also earned All-Area and honorable mention All-State honors in football as a senior.
