Hawks Season Concludes with Loss to UMHB

Belton, Texas – The Hawks season has come to an end with a loss in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. (54-0) This loss brings Huntingdon's final record to 9-2.

Head Coach Mike Turk on the game:

"Obviously, we are disappointed with the result today. We certainly did not have our best day, but they had a lot to do with that. UMHB has a very talented and very well coached football team. This does not take away anything that these guys accomplished this year though. We have had a great year, and I am extremely proud to have been a part of this team."

For the year the Hawks scored 406 points and averaged 36 points a game while allowing 23 points from opponents. They average 453 yards a game and accumulated 2792 passing yards and 2201 rushing yards. Hawks defense has scored one touchdown this season and produced 643 tackles with 30 sacks.

Huntingdon's only losses this season were to ranked opponents (#5 Linfield and #3 UMHB).
