MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team lost to East Texas Baptist University 83-67 on Thursday in the Hawks' home opener.
Huntingdon led early, building an eight-point lead in the first five minutes of the game. But ETBU took the lead with 13:04 left in the first half and led for the remainder of the game.
The Hawks kept it close until early in the second half when the Tigers began to pull ahead for good.
Caleb Toney led Huntingdon with 11 points and Damien Madison and Sam Page each had 10 points.
