Hawks pull away from Brevard in second half

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, FANS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT HUNTINGDON BASKETBALL GAMES

 

BREVARD, N.C. – The Huntingdon men's basketball team beat Brevard 70-56 on Friday night.

The Hawks led for the final 33 minutes of the game, and put Brevard away in the final 16 minutes. Leading 40-39 with 15:45 to play, Huntingdon went on a 24-7 run to pull away.

The Hawks capped the run with three straight 3-pointers, with Keondre Davis hitting two and Willie Taylor hitting the third, to make it 64-46.

The Hawks led by at least 14 points for the remainder of the game.

Damien Madison led the Hawks with 19 points and Davis added 13 points. Dylan Bohling pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
