Hawks Fall Short Against Berea

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Men's Basketball lost to Berea, 85-81. The Hawks are now 6-11 overall and 0-6 in conference.

Huntingdon held a lead until the 7 minute mark of the first half but after Berea took the lead, the Hawks could not make a comeback. At 10:25 of the second half, the Hawks came within 2, making it 55-53, and stayed within 2 until less than 4 minutes in the second half.

The Hawks outrebounded Berea 39-34 and collected 11 points off of 11 Berea turnovers. Huntingdon totalled 61 bench points and 24 points in the paint.

Damien Madison led the team with 34 points with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Justin Johnson had 11 points including 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Hawks are back at home next Saturday, February 5th, to take on Maryville at 4:00 PM CST.
