Men's Basketball Drops Game to BSC

LaGrange, Georgia – In day two of the LaGrange tournament the Hawks fell to Birmingham Southern 90-71.

The Panthers began the game with an 11-2 run that secured their lead the entire game. The Hawks brought the game within two (25-23) with 10:51 remaining in the 1^st half. The first half was led by 9 points from Rashawn Knox shooting 4-4 from the field with a team shooting percentage of 45%. BSC shot 48% and ended the half with a score of 49-37. After halftime, the Hawks were unable to cut the lead any further than 9 points. Huntingdon's shooting percentage dropped to 32% despite making 6 threes in the second half. With the Panthers scoring 41 points in the second half, it lifted them to a 90-71 win over the Hawks.

The Hawks will return to action after Thanksgiving when they travel to the Roger Taylor Invitational at NC Wesleyan on December 2nd and 3rd to take on Greensboro at 5pm CST on the 2^nd and NC Wesleyan at 1 pm CST on the 3^rd.
