Men’s Golf Wins Inaugural Collegiate Conference of the South Tournament

DALTON, Ga. – The Huntingdon Hawks have won the first Collegiate Conference of the South Championship.

Backed by Senior, Grant Gronka, the Hawks have claimed the conference championship after three rounds in Dalton.

With a total score of 889, Huntingdon defeated #2 Piedmont by 16 strokes. The Hawks held the #1 position across all three rounds, lowering their score each day, with scores of 302, 294, and 293.

Individually, Grant Gronka won the individual title with a score of 215 across three rounds and a best round score of 68, four under par in round three. He finished the tournament with 31 pars, 11 birdies and one eagle.

Close behind with a final score of 221 was Jack Burr who placed second overall. Burr led with 33 pars and shot 9 birdies with a low round score of 70 in round two.
