Jack Burr Named CCS Golfer Of The Year, Five Hawks Named To All-Conference Team

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- Jack Burr earned the title of 2024 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Men's Golfer of the Year, a fitting recognition for his stellar performance throughout the season, leading the Hawks to remarkable achievements and national rankings.  Alongside Jack, Zack Coker, Stephen Baker, Cole Humphrey, and Tyler Bjorgum have each been named to the All-conference team.

Burr has shown remarkable consistency throughout the regular season, earning the title of 2024 CCS Golfer of the Year. As a sophomore, he has garnered five CCS Golfer of the Week accolades this season and holds the impressive rank of No. 8 among Division III golfers both regionally and nationally. His adjusted scoring average stands at an impressive 70.9 over 27 rounds, reflecting his strong performances on the course. Burr's notable achievements include victories at the Tiger Invitational and the Cochran Collegiate, along with three top-3 finishes. He has also placed individually in the top four in the last two CCS Men's Golf Championship Tournaments and has led his team to both a championship and a runner-up title.

Of the five first team all-conference selections, the Hawks saw three golfers named with Burr leading the way next to CCS Tournament champion Stephen Baker and Zackery Coker.
