Huntingdon wins third straight game

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team scored seven goals in the first quarter and cruised to a 19-7 win over the University of Dallas on Friday.

The win was the third straight for the Hawks.             

The Hawks led 7-2 at the end of the first quarter, built a 10-2 lead in the second quarter and led 10-4 at halftime. Leading 11-5 in the second half, Huntingdon put the game away with seven straight goals to close the third quarter and open the fourth quarter.

Tyler Keiser and Ian Bruggeman combined for 10 goals for the Hawks. Keiser had five goals, was 10-for-13 on faceoffs and picked up 10 ground balls. Bruggeman had five goals and two assists.

Brayden Puckett had two goals and three assists, Paul Gordon finished with two goals and an assist, Brady Moulton had two goals and Caden Bacz had three assists. Cole Foster had one goal, one assist and seven ground balls, Ryan Campion had one goal and five ground balls and Kole Andres scored one goal.

Patrick Gladden had one assist and was 7-for-10 on faceoffs and Hayden Strickland had one assist and five ground balls.

Goalie Stephen Dan recorded five saves and seven goals allowed in 60 minutes.
