Hawks beat Brevard

BREVARD, N.C.  – The Huntingdon men's lacrosse team picked up a 9-3 conference win against Brevard on Friday.

Huntingdon took an early 3-1 lead but was tied 3-3 early in the second half. The Hawks gained momentum and put the game away with six unanswered goals. Ian Bruggeman scored three of the final six goals and Tyler Keiser, Paul Gordon and Brady Moulton each scored one goal during the final stretch.

Bruggeman finished with four goals, one assist and six ground balls and Gordon had two goals, one assist and seven ground balls. Moulton totaled one goal and two assists, Ryan Campion and Keiser each had one goal and Mike Jones, Cole Foster and Brayden Puckett each had one assist.

Jones had seven caused turnovers, Caden Bacz had six ground balls and Campion had five ground balls.

Goalie Stephen Dan recorded nine saves and three goals allowed.
