Connor Angst Named USA South Rookie Of The Week

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- For the first time this season, Connor Angst of Huntingdon men's lacrosse has been named the USA South Rookie of the Week.

The freshman attackman from Ponte Vedra, Florida scored three goals with five ground balls in the team's only contest last week, a 17-8 win over USA South foe Brevard. Athletes also nominated were: Tyler Cameron, Brevard; Connor Angst, Huntingdon; Daniel Wright, Methodist; Michadian Bryant, Pfeiffer; Porter Wells, Southern Virginia.

Angst and the Hawks gear up for their Senior Day matchup this Saturday, April 27th, taking on Southern Virginia at home. Gametime is scheduled for 2:00 PM CT.
