Hawks knock off Tuskegee

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon men's tennis team picked up its second straight win with a 9-0 victory over Tuskegee University on Saturday.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of John Jones and Bailey Burns won 8-6 and the No. 2 team of Ben Marler and Mark Melchor won 8-1. The No. 3 team of Kevaughnte Merrion and Anjala Chandrasoma won by default.
In singles, Burns (No.1) won 6-4, 6-3, Adam Self (No. 2) won 6-0, 3-6, 10-8, Chandrasoma (No. 3) won 7-6, 6-4, Trevor Berry (No. 4) won 6-0, 6-3 and Merrion (No. 5) won 6-1, 6-2. Marler won by default at No. 6.
