Hawks beat Tuskegee

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon men's tennis team knocked off Tuskegee University 8-1 on Friday.

The Hawks won all three doubles matches with wins at No. 1 (Mark Melchor and Carson Sands), No. 2 (Clint Robinson and John David Bailey) and No. 3 (Domenic Terrell and Kevaughnte Merrion).

In singles, Melchor (No. 1), Sands (No. 2), Bailey (No. 4), Terrell (No. 5) and Merrion (No. 6) each earned wins to close the match.

 

Records: Huntingdon (3-2); Tuskegee (3-5)                                   

 

Coming Up: Huntingdon will play two matches on the road on Saturday, with an 11 a.m. match vs. Spring Hill at Saraland High School and a 2 p.m. match at the University of Mobile.
