Men’s tennis loses at Tuskegee

TUSKEGEE, Ala.  – The Huntingdon men's tennis team lost to Tuskegee 7-0 on Saturday.

Due to the NCAA's scoring format for Division II programs, the scoring is handled differently than in Division III. In Division III, a team receives a point for each victory in doubles. In Division II, one point is awarded to the team that wins two or more of the doubles matches.

Per NCAA rules, when teams from different divisions compete, the rules of the home team's division are applied.

Huntingdon earned a win at No. 2 doubles with the team of John David Bailey and Cameron Reed winning 8-7.

Coming Up: Huntingdon plays at Maryville on March 6 at 10 a.m. (Central).
