Men's Tennis Competes in Day 1 of John McWilliams Invitational

Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Men's Tennis competed in day 1 of the John McWilliams Invitational in singles and doubles competitions against Wallace State Community College, Oglethorpe, and Belhaven.

Huntingdon vs Wallace:

Carson Sands and Lane Young were defeated 8-1.

Clint Robinson and Zach Cox were defeated 8-1.

Tanner Lynn and Rowland Cobb were defeated 8-5.

Huntingdon vs Oglethorpe:

Lane Young and Carson Sands were defeated 8-5.

Cameron Reed and Tanner Lynn were defeated 8-2.

Clint Robinson and Domenic Terrell were defeated 8-1.

Huntingdon vs Belhaven:

Carson Sands was defeated 6-1, 6-1.

Lane Young was defeated 6-3, 6-3.

Clint Robinson was defeated 6-2, 7-6.

Zach Cox won 6-3, 7-6.

Rowland Cobb was defeated 6-4, 6-2.

Prosser Crow was defeated 6-4, 6-2.

 

Day 2 of the John McWilliams Invitational is tomorrow, September 17th. The Hawks will take on LaGrange, Piedmont, and Belhaven. First matches are scheduled for 11:30 AM CST.
