Huntingdon loses to Mount St. Joseph and Wartburg

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon softball team lost two games on Saturday.

The Hawks lost to Mount St. Joseph 5-4 and fell to Wartburg 11-3 in five innings.

Against Mount St. Joseph, the Hawks fell behind 5-2 in the second inning before scoring two runs in the sixth inning to make it a one-run game.

Anna Vaughn had two RBIs for the Hawks and Brooke Stefankiewicz scored two runs. Annie Nolan and Caitlyn Caffee each had one RBI and Mollie Singleterry and Hannah Vines each scored one run.

Lauren Melton (1-3) took the loss for Huntingdon in seven innings. Elise Maddox (0-4) took the loss in Game 2. Emma Bauer scored two runs for the Hawks and Stefankiewicz scored one run. Vaughn and Dani Holt each had one RBI and Singleterry had two hits.
