Allie Roberts Named CCS Pitcher Of The Week

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- Huntingdon softball's starting pitcher Allie Roberts has been named the CCS Pitcher of the Week for her inaugural performance against Rhodes on February 10th.

The Auburn, Alabama native made her presence in the CCS known early, throwing a no-hitter in her first ever contest. Of her 54 pitches, 42 were strikes, resulting in 8 total strikeouts on the game. 

Her no-hitter was the first recorded for the Hawks in 11 years, with the last one coming from Brooke Meadows in 2013.

You can catch Allie and the Hawks at home on Saturday, February 17th in a double header against Centre. Gametimes are scheduled for 12:00 and 2:00 PM CT.
