MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Another impressive performance for Hawks Softball (6-0) as they defeated the Mount St. Joseph Lions (3-3) with a score of 5-0, following up with a 13-9 victory over the Pacers of William Peace University. The Hawks kept their foot on the throttle throughout the entirety of the two contests, with steady offensive production guiding the Hawks throughout the day.

Game One Against Mount. St Joseph

Highlights 

• In the bottom of the first, The Hawks' Jordan Holman, SS, homered, sending herself and Kylie Stephens around the bases. The Hawks take the lead, 2-0 

• In the bottom of the second inning, Riley Rudick  homered, allowing herself and Kate Dinkle to round the bases. 4-0. 

• Kylie Stephens singled to Center Field, sending Kamryn Miller home. 5-0

• The Hawks did not allow a single run all game

On the Mound

• The Hawks' #33 Allie Roberts threw 107 pitches to 25 batters with 70 of them being strikes. Roberts only allowed 3 hits on the day.

Game Two against William Peace

Highlights

• In the top of the first inning a wild pitch allowed Adanya Day of the Pacers to advance to second, Logan Ayers to advance to third, and Angelina Jones to score. The Pacers took the lead 1-0. 

• Megan McAnany doubled to left field, Adanya Day and Logan Ayers scored. 3-0. 

• Marissa Fuller then singled to center field. Reagan Stewart advanced to second and Megan McAnany scored. 4-0. 

• In the bottom of the first inning, The Hawks' Bailey Murphy singled to left field allowing Kylie Stephens to advance to second and Brooke Stefankiewicz to score. The Hawks made it on the board 4-1.

• An error by 3B allowed Maddie Grace Hubbard to reach first, Miranda Treadway to advance to second, Bailey Murphy to advance to third, and sent Kylie Stephens home - unearned. 4-2.

• Sydney Sellers doubled to center field. Maddie Grace Hubbard advanced to third while Miranda Treadway and Bailey Murphy scored. Hawks tie it up 4-4. 

• Riley Rudick grounded to third, sending Maddie Grace Hubbard home. Hawks take the lead 5-4

• In the top of the second inning, Logan Ayers of the Pacers doubled to left field, Angelina Jones scored. The Pacers tie it up 5-5. 

• Megan McAnany flied out to center field, allowing Logan Ayers to score. The Pacers regain the lead. 6-5. 

• In the bottom of the second inning. Jordan Holman singled to left field, sending Kylie Stephens to third and Brookie Stefankiewicz home. All Tied Up. 6-6

• Bailey Murphy singled to right field, allowing Jordan Holman to advance to second and Kylie Stephens to score. Hawks take the lead. 7-6.

• Maddie Grace Hubbard walked, advancing Miranda Treadway to second, Bailey Murphy to third, and Jordan Holman home. 8-6.

• Riley Rudick walked. This allowed Maddie Grace Hubbard to advance to second, Miranda Treadway to advance to third, and Bailey Murphy to score. 9-6. 

• Dani Holt was hit by the pitch. This advanced Riley Rudick to second, Maddie Grace Hubbard to third, and sent Miranda Treadway home. 10-6. 

• Kylie Stephens singled to right field as Brooke Stefankiewicz advanced to second. Ellie Lorence and Riley Rudick scored. 12-6.

• In the bottom of the third inning, Riley Rudick singled to right field, causing Kate Dinkel to advance to third and Maddie Grace Hubbard to score. 13-6

• In the top of the sixth inning, Adanya Day, of the Pacers, doubled to right field as teammate Logan Ayers scored. 12-7.

• In the top of the seventh inning, Logan Ayers doubled causing both Lydia Hunt and Cierra Lear to score. 13-9. 

On the Mound

• #13 Piper Messick got the start for the Hawks throwing 16 pitches to 3 batters, 4 of which were strikes. Messick allowed 3 runs.

• 2 Aubree Flanagan relieved Messick. Flanagan faced 37 batters throwing 70 strikes out of 121 pitches. Flanagan allowed 6 runs.
