MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon women's basketball team returned to conference play with a 93-17 win over Wesleyan College on Wednesday.
In a game in which Huntingdon's starters saw limited playing time, the Lady Hawks' bench accounted for 62 points as all 16 Huntingdon players scored.
The win was Huntingdon's 10th in 12 games this season. The 10-2 start is tied for the best start for the Lady Hawks during the NCAA era.
Freshman Ry Whetstone led Huntingdon with her first collegiate double-double. Whetstone finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in 16 minutes of playing time.
Senior T.I. Duncan had 10 points in 11 minutes and junior Keturah Billen had 10 points and six rebounds in 13 minutes. Freshman Kassidy Crawford added nine points and sophomore Lauren Johnson had eight points. Freshman Wyatt Bak had a team-high five assists.
