Brevard, NC.-Huntingdon Women's Basketball fell to Brevard, 71-68.
The Hawks were down 18-13 after the first quarter and 33-21 at halftime. Huntingdon battled back and tied the game at 50 with 8:26 left in the fourth quarter on a layup by Brooklyn Oden and took a 56-50 lead with 7:16 left. The Hawks held onto a 64-62 lead with 2:17 left in the game until Brevard tied it with 2 minutes left.
The game was tied 66-66 with less than a minute remaining. With the Hawks up 68-66 on a Kinstin Davis jump shot, Brevard made a 3-point shot to take a 69-68 lead followed by 2 made free throws to secure the win, 71-68.
Kassidy Crawford led the team with 22 points. Brooklyn Oden had 15 points, a team-leading 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.
The Hawks were outrebounded 40-35 but collected 31 bench points and 26 points in the paint.
