Huntingdon closes out Savannah Invitational
SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Huntingdon women's golf team shot 343 in the final round of the Savannah Invitational on Tuesday and finished fifth with a two-round 674.
Methodist won the five-team tournament with a 629. Berry College was second at 642.
Debra Ann Burdeshaw led Huntingdon with an 82 in the final round and finished tied for 21st with a two-round 170. Anna Beth Harris also tied for 21st with a 170.
Emma Cox tied for 23rd with a 171, Abigail Cody tied for 25th with a 172 and Emma Hallman was 27th with a 174.
Methodist's Jillian Drinkard earned medalist honors with a 5-over-par 149.
Coming Up: Huntingdon will play in the Jekyll Island Invitational on March 19-21.
