Huntingdon’s Martin named first-team USA South West Division

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Huntingdon's Shelby Martin was recognized as first-team West Division with the release of the USA South All-Conference women's lacrosse awards on Friday.

Martin led Huntingdon with 17 goals and 24 draw controls this season and tied for the team lead with six assists.

Savannah Ryan was named to the USA South All-Sportsmanship team.

Six-time defending conference tournament champion Meredith was recognized with the Offensive Player of the Year (Lilia Cruz), Defensive Player of the Year (Joy Deitrich), Rookie of the Year (Jessica Dowdy) and Coach of the Year (Lauren Scott).
