Mount Berry, Georgia – The Hawks fell to Berry College in their season opener 20-0.
Berry scored five goals in the first 7 minutes of the game and finished the first quarter with 8 total goals as the Hawks struggled to score (8-0). In the second quarter, three more goals by the Vikings in four minutes left the Hawks trailing 11-0 with 10 minutes left in the half and from there Huntingdon could not muster enough offense to respond. The score heading to halftime was 14-0.
The Hawks return to action Saturday February 18th at Brenau, game time set for 2:00 PM CST.
