FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Huntingdon (1-6 overall, 0-3 USA South) fell on the road to Methodist (7-4 overall, 2-2 USA South), 24-3.
The Monarchs first quarter run of 4-0 in five minutes before Mackenzie Wolford could tag a goal for the Hawks lifted Methodist to a 12-1 lead before going into the second quarter. The Hawks were unable to score in the second and the score heading to halftime was 17-1.
After the first half, seven more goals were scored by the Monarchs and in the fourth, Celina Owens-Campbell scored back-to-back goals before the close of the game.
Mia Haulbrook earned her first start in the goal for the Hawks and came up with seven saves for the game.
