LOUISVILLE, KENT.- In their opening game of the season, Huntingdon women's lacrosse (0-1 overall) fell to Spalding (1-0 overall) 12-6.

Senior captain Mackenzie Wolford opened up the season for the Hawks with a free position goal 15 seconds into the game

Spalding responded with a goal at the 10:01 mark

Freshman Regan Barrett earned the first points of her career with a free position goal at the 9:19 mark, putting the Hawks ahead 2-1

Peyton Beachler followed Barrett with a goal of her own, extending the Huntingdon lead to 3-1 with 8 minutes remaining in the quarter

Spalding came back with 4 unanswered goals to hold a 5-3 lead going into the second quarter
Second quarter
