MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In their first home match of the season, Huntingdon women's lacrosse (0-3 overall) was taken down by the Hendrix Warriors (3-4 overall) 20-4.

First quarter

The Warriors first goal came at the 14:36 mark on a free position shot

Kate Hudson responded with a goal at the 12:10 mark to even the score

Mackenzie Wolford followed another Hendrix goal with one of her own at the 7:50 mark to even the score at two

The Warriors closed the quarter with 4 unanswered goals to hold a 6-2 lead entering the second
Second quarter

Hendrix drew the first points of the quarter a little shy of two minutes in with a goal

Amara Veng put the Hawks back on the board at the 11:00 minute mark, putting Huntingdon behind 7-3

In response, the Warriors went on a 8-0 run to close the first half with a 15-3 lead
Third quarter

Continuing their offensive success into the second half, Hendrix scored the only two goals of the period at the 13:09 mark and with 15 seconds remaining in the quarter to enter the final period with a 17-3 lead
Fourth quarter

Hendrix opened up the final quarter of play with two goals, extending their lead to 19-3 by the 12:10 mark

Still battling, Amara Veng scored her second goal of the day with 11:24 remaining to bring the score to 19-4

Hendrix scored within the final 2:00 to take a 20-4 victory
