CARY, N.C. – The Huntingdon women's soccer team gave up a goal in the 13th minute and fell to William Peace 1-0 on Sunday in conference action.
Clara Tapplin took two of Huntingdon's five shots on goal and Kira Bohlke, Abi Olmeda and Shelby Clark each took one shot on goal for the Lady Hawks (2-7, 1-3 USA South).
"We had a very impressive team performance today and the girls played well enough to win," Huntingdon head coach Robert Milner said. "We controlled much of the game, but we gave them a present of a goal and we didn't convert our many chances. I'm happy with the passion our girls showed and now we have to get ready for Maryville."
Keeper Brittany Houseman had four saves and one goal allowed for Huntingdon.
