Leach named second-team West Division by the USA South

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Sophomore Leah Leach was recognized with the release of the USA South All-Conference women's soccer awards on Thursday.

The Palm Coast, Fla., native was named second-team in the West Division as a goalkeeper.

Leach finished this season with 98 saves, ranking her fifth in the conference, and had a career-high 17 saves at Agnes Scott. She recorded a .790 save percentage and played 1590:27 minutes.

She recorded shutouts against Toccoa Falls, Jusdon, Wesleyan, LaGrange (twice) and Maryville. Her shutout against Maryville snapped a losing streak to the Scots dating to at least the fall of 2002.  

Sophomore Jenna Maschino was named to the All-Sportsmanship team for the second straight season.

Salem's Brooke Bukas was named Player of the Year while Ferrum's Payton Stuart was named Rookie of the Year. Meredith's Paul Smith was named Coach of the Year.
