The women's soccer team is coming off of a 5-5 record in the shortened 2021 spring season. The Hawks were 5-3 in conference play and advanced to the first round of the USA West Division Tournament. The five conference victories were the most in a season for the program since joining the USA South.

In the fall of 2021, Huntingdon will return to a regular number of games. The schedule begins at home against Birmingham-Southern on Sept. 1.

Head coach Cliff Jordan on the expectations for a return to normalcy this fall: "We're looking forward to giving the ladies a full-game schedule and the experience they've been looking for pre-pandemic."

Senior Doren Staley on the expectations for a return to normalcy this fall: "I am very excited to return to some normalcy this year. I think it will increase morale and allow for us to get more pumped. I know going back to normal will please all of the girls on the team. We will be able to do more together, work together and get results. This team has so much potential."

Jordan on how the challenges of the past year helped bring the team closer together: "The team really demonstrated their personality. They were able to take days that were challenging and make them fun and help take our minds off a lot of unnecessary and uncontrollable stresses. I believe we enjoyed the game more and we realized how blessed we were that each day we could compete and play."

Staley on how the challenges of the past year helped bring the team closer together: "I definitely think all of the challenges we experienced last year brought us together more as a team. We went through a lot of tough times that, in the end, allowed us to bond closer to each other and be able to learn more about each person on the team."

Jordan on what he learned about himself and his team last season: "I learned that our team can adapt to ever-changing situations. We're very blessed with the group we have this year as they showed even during tough times, they can rise to the occasion and bring out the best in each other."

Staley on what she learned about herself and her team last season: "I learned this team does not give up or hang their heads low. If we got down a goal, the entire team worked to get us back to where we needed to be. I know our team has the determination and the drive to get better every day."

Jordan on the goals for this season: "We lost a lot of players last year to graduation so this year's goal is to harness the team's identity, move forward and keep competing at the level we know we can achieve."

Staley on the goals for this season: "My goals for this season are to help the freshmen bond and mesh well with our returners. Another goal is to take this team farther than ever. I am incredibly proud of all the girls on this team and I think this year we will continue Huntingdon's success and hopefully take it even further."
