Montgomery, Ala.-The Huntingdon Women's Soccer team opened conference play with a 1-0 win over Brevard, improving to 5-2-0 overall.
Erin Cembrale's 4th goal of the season in the 58th minute propelled the Hawks offense that totalled 12 shots. Goalkeeper Kiki Culpepper made 7 saves.
Madison Tryon led the team with 5 shots.
The Hawks are back in action on Monday, September 27, when they travel to Sewanee for a 6 PM kickoff.
