Hawks Shutout Agnes Scott

Decatur, Ga.-The Huntingdon Women's Soccer Team defeated Agnes Scott 6-0. The Hawks are now 8-5-1 overall and 4-1-1 in conference.

Madison Tryon scored her 7th goal of the season just 7 minutes into the game, with an assist by Erin Cembrale. Faithe Karponay made it a 2-0 lead at 19:52, with an assist by Tryon.

Katlyn Harrison added to the Hawks lead, scoring an unassisted goal at 30:28 to make it 3-0. With 5 minutes remaining in the first half, Brielle Landry scored her 2nd goal of the year, assisted by Doren Staley

Madison Tryon's 2nd goal of the game, an unassisted goal at 77:39, gave the Hawks a 5-0 lead. Joslyn Dahlburg scored a penalty kick goal at 87:19, her second goal of the season.

Goalkeepers Kiki Culpepper and Paige Rhody split the game, with Culpepper playing the first half and Rhody playing the second half. Each made 2 saves on 2 shots on goals.

The Hawks are back in action at home on Saturday, October 16. Kickoff against Piedmont is set for 11:00 AM CST.
