JACKSON, Miss. – Huntingdon Women's Soccer (0-2) lost the battle in the Millsaps Classic against McMurray (1-0) with a final score of 4-0.
The Hawks four shots for the game was not enough to slide one past the McMurray goalie. The War Hawk's scored their first goal at the eighth minute and another at the 36th before the end of the first period.
Huntingdon's starting goalkeeper, Caroline Masker tallied three saves in the first and five in the second period, but the Hawks defense struggled as McMurray scored two more goals before the close of the game.
The Hawks will return to action at Birmingham-Southern on the 8th of September at 6:00 PM CT.
