Women’s Soccer Downs Agnes Scott

DECATUR, Ga. – The Hawks (4-5-1 overall, 2-1 CCS) defeated the Scotties of Agnes Scott in their road conference matchup, 5-0.

Laney Bishop scored an unassisted goal in the opening two minutes of play to create excitement for the Hawks.

Defensively, Caroline Masker had one save and kept the Aggies scoreless as her teammates added two more first half goals. Madison Tryon scored an unassisted goal in the 39^th minute and Bishop tabbed her second and final goal of the game in the 43^rd minute right before halftime.

Masker completed the shutout for the Hawks with three second half saves. Offensively, Tryon soared her second goal of the game past the Agnes Scott goalkeeper and freshman Bianca Tapscott scored her first collegiate career goal to lift the Hawks to a 5-0 CCS victory.
