Huntingdon women’s tennis picks up third conference win
FERRUM, Va. – The Huntingdon women's tennis team wrapped up a two-match conference road trip with a 9-0 win over Ferrum College on Monday.
It was the second 9-0 conference win for Huntingdon (4-2, 3-1 USA South) in four USA South Athletic Conference matches.
Britni Thibodeau (No. 1), Hannah Still (No. 2), Daniela Lozano (No. 3), Tara-Beth Hall (No. 4), Elayne White (No. 5) and Shamyia Jones (No. 6) each won their singles matches in straight sets.
Thibodeau and Hall won at No. 1 doubles, Lozano and Barraca won at No. 2 doubles and Still and White won at No. 3 doubles.
Huntingdon returns to action on Wednesday with a conference match against Piedmont at LaGrange.
