Huntingdon improves to 3-0 in USA South

BEREA, Ky. -- The Huntingdon women's tennis team picked up its third consecutive conference win beating Berea 9-0 on Sunday.
In singles, No. 1 Josie Waddell, No. 2 Kacy Howard, No. 3 Heather Tabor, No. 4 Clayton Waring, No. 5 Lucy Burch, and No. 6 Kacey Stephens each earned wins over the Mountaineers.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Waddell-Zoya Robinson won 8-0. The No. 2 team of Waring-Alex Burnham won 8-1. The No. 3 team of Burch-Stephens won 8-0.
Records: Huntingdon (6-2, 3-0 USA South), Berea (0-4, 0-3 USA South)
Coming Up: Huntingdon returns to action on March 30. The Lady Hawks will play at Tuskegee at 9 a.m. before facing Montreat College at 1:30 p.m. in a match in Lanett.
