Huntingdon improves to 3-0 in conference play

MONTGOMERY, Ala.  – The Huntingdon women's tennis team improved to 3-0 in conference play with a 7-2 win over Brevard on Saturday.

Madeline Creel (No. 1), Lucy Burch (No. 2), Allison Stegall (No. 3) and Meredith Head (No. 5) each earned singles victories.

In doubles, the teams of Creel-Marisa LaJone (No. 1), Burch-Stegall (No. 2) and Alonda Weaver-Kennedy Harp (No. 3) each earned wins.

Records: Huntingdon (6-3, 3-0 USA South); Brevard (1-1, 1-1 USA South)

Coming Up: Huntingdon hosts Brevard in a non-conference match at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
