Hawks Taken Down By Piedmont

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In their second match in as many days, Huntingdon women's tennis (2-4 overall, 1-1 CCS) was defeated by the Piedmont Lions(16-3 overall, 3-0 CCS) 9-0 at home. See below for the full doubles and singles results.

Doubles

• Taji Williams and Ella Hathcock were defeated by Bri Laidman and Abbey Grace Venham 8-3
• Natalie Tedesco and Katelyn Morris were defeated by Jordan Ballard and Dakota Wilkes 8-2
• Huntingdon was forced to forfeit the third doubles match

Singles

• Taji Williams was defeated by Abbey Grace Venham 6-0 in each set
• Natalie Tedesco was defeated by Marion Sloyan 6-0 in each set
• Ella Hathcock was defeated by Dakota Wilkes 6-0 and 6-3
• Katelyn Morris was defeated by Alyssa McSpadden 6-0 and 6-1
• Angelina Mazza was defeated by Bri Laidman 6-1 and 6-0
• Huntingdon was forced to forfeit the sixth doubled match

The Hawks look to bounce back on the road at Covenant on April 9th. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 PM CT.
