Hawks Take Down The Panthers

LAGRANGE,Ga.- Huntingdon women's tennis(4-5 overall, 3-2 CCS) took down the Panthers of LaGrange College(0-17 overall, 0-6 CCS) 6-3 on the road. See below for the full doubles and singles results.

Doubles

• Taji Williams and Ella Hathcock defeated Journey Oden and Olivia Dusterdieck 8-1
• Natalie Tedesco and Angelina Mazza defeated Mayla Daniel and Emily Blanks 8-0
• Huntingdon was forced to forfeit the third doubles match

Singles

• Taji Williams defeated Journey Oden 6-0 and 6-2
• Natalie Tedesco defeated Olivia Dusterdieck 6-1 and 6-2
• Ella Hathcock defeated Abby Fuller 6-1 in each set
• Angelina Mazza defeated Shelby Carnes 6-0 in each set
• Huntingdon was forced to forfeit the last two singles matches

The Hawks look to carry their momentum into a matchup with the Berea Mountaineers on April 20th at home.
