Taji Williams Named CCS Women's Tennis Player Of The Week

MONTGOMERY,Ala.- In honor of her performances in the Hawks final two home matches, the CCS has named Taji Williams as the Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Williams boasted a flawless 2-0 record at the No. 1 position, securing victories against Berea with scores of 6-0, 6-3, and LaGrange with scores of 6-0, 6-2. In doubles, she teamed up with Ella Hathcock to achieve a resounding win at the No. 1 position against LaGrange with a score of 8-1.

Williams and the Hawks look forward to the CCS Championship tournament in Chattanooga beginning on April 25th with a match against Agnes Scott. The match is set to begin at 9:00 AM CT.
