Huntingdon sweeps Wesleyan

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, FANS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT HUNTINGDON VOLLEYBALL MATCHES

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team swept Wesleyan in a pair of 3-0 victories on Tuesday night.

Huntingdon won the first match 25-15, 25-17, 25-12 and won the second match 25-19, 25-13, 25-13. The first win counted as a conference match and the second victory was a non-conference match.

Amy Tyma (29), Jordan Hollis (16) and Cadie Shirley (14) combined for 59 kills in the two matches and Morgan Ilsley had 60 assists for the day. Caroline Foote (7) and Ilsley (6) combined for 13 of Huntingdon's 21 aces. Tyma (23), Lauren Hinton (17) Audrey Horsley (15), Foote (13) and Ilsley (11) combined for 79 of the Hawks' 99 digs in the two matches.
