Huntingdon sweeps Piedmont in volleyball doubleheader

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon volleyball team extended its winning streak to six matches with a pair of 3-0 wins over Piedmont on Thursday.

Huntingdon won the first match 25-12, 25-20, 25-12 and capped the day with a 25-11, 25-11, 25-23 win. The first match counted as a conference match and the second match was a non-conference contest.

Amy Tyma led Huntingdon with 32 kills and 20 digs in the two matches. Tyma, Jordan Hollis (19), Kennedy Chambers (14) and Addie Jacobs (11) combined for 76 of the Hawks' 89 kills in the two matches.

Morgan Ilsley totaled 62 assists, 18 digs, three blocks and four aces. Jessica Brunk also had 18 digs and Hollis had five blocks in the two wins.
