Huntingdon splits in volleyball doubleheader at Berea

DUE TO CURRENT COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, FANS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT HUNTINGDON VOLLEYBALL MATCHES

BEREA, Ky. – The Huntingdon volleyball team split with Berea in a pair of matches on Saturday.

Berea won the first match 25-23, 25-21, 25-23 and Huntingdon won the second match 25-23, 25-21, 25-20. The first match counted as a conference match and the second match was a non-conference contest.

Amy Tyma led Huntingdon with 33 kills and 33 digs in the two matches. With 1,513 career digs, Tyma is the first Hawk to record 1,500 career digs since the NCAA went to its current scoring format in 2008.

Morgan Ilsley totaled 69 assists in the two matches and Audrey Horsley finished with 33 digs.
