LaGrange, Ga.-Huntingdon Volleyball defeated LaGrange, 3-1, on day 1 of the LaGrange Tournament.
After dropping the first set, 25-21, the Hawks took 3 straight sets, 25-18, 25-17, and 25-14.
Morgan Ilsley led the team with 11.5 points and 19 assists with 10 kills and 12 digs. Jessi Hilyer collected 21 assists and 5 digs while Kamea Nash had 15 kills and 2 digs. Kennedy Chambers had 10 kills and 21 total attempts with 10 points.
The Hawks are back in action at the LaGrange Tournament tomorrow, September 3rd, when they take on N.C. Wesleyan and Alverno. Game times are set for 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM CST.
