Demorest, Ga.-Huntingdon Volleyball was defeated by Berea 3-2 and defeated Piedmont, 3-1.
HC vs Berea:
The Hawks dropped set 1, 25-22, and set two, 25-17, but won sets three and four, 25-13, and 25-18. Piedmont won set 5, 15-11.
Kamea Nash had 18.5 points with 14 kills and 18 digs. Morgan Ilsley had 15 points with 23 assists, 13 kills, and 18 digs. Samantha Singleton led the team with 29 digs. Reece Rhodes had 14.5 points with 12 kills and 16 digs.
HC vs Piedmont:
The Hawks won set one, 25-16, but dropped set two, 28-26. The Hawks were able to take sets three and four, 25-14, and 28-26, for the win.
Reece Rhodes had 17.5 points with 31 digs and 16 kills. Kamea Nash had 15 points with 18 digs and 13 kills. Morgan Ilsley had 8 points with 8 kills, 17 digs, and 20 assists. Jessi Hilyet led the team with 24 assists while Samantha Singleton led the team with 37 digs.
The Hawks are back in action at home against Faulkner on Wednesday, October 12th. Game time is set for 7:30 PM CST.
