MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Huntingdon College athletic department held its annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday night to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes that helped make this another successful year.

This year's winners are:

Male Student-Athlete of the Year: Addison Lambeth, Golf

Female Student-Athlete of the Year: Juliette Harp, Basketball

Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Zach den Besten, Soccer

Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Raina Lanier, Softball and

                                                   Kalen Morgan, Volleyball

Male Newcomer of the Year: DeAnte' Griffith, Football

Female Newcomer of the Year: Samara Miller, Softball

Megan Cook Sportsmanship Award: Victoria Krupa, Lacrosse and

                                                    Bria Rochelle, Volleyball

John McWilliams Sportsmanship Award: Josh Clayton, Lacrosse and 

                                                         John Iwaniec, Football

Charlie Lane Coach of the Year Award: Dave Schreyer, Golf

Male Single-Game Performance of the Year: Luke Bailey's five touchdowns and school-record 489 yards of total offense in a 52-49 win over Louisiana College.

Female Single-Game Performance of the Year: Raina Lanier scores the winning run and pitches a complete-game, eight-inning shutout with 10 strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Covenant.

Play of the Year: Jesse Rowlen's pin with six seconds left in a 22-21 win over Division II Ouachita Baptist and Kendrick Ballard's game-winning goal in overtime for a 9-8 win over Capital.

Biggest Win of the Year: Men's lacrosse defeats Ferrum 9-8 for the first win against the Panthers
