With each of the two teams sitting atop the CCS standings thus far this season, the two teams traded leads 24 times as they battled. A Scots three pointer with five seconds proved to be the difference, handing Huntingdon their first CCS loss of the season at home, 80-77.

Coming off a 2-0 conference road stretch, Huntingdon men's basketball returned to Roland Arena to face Asbury University in the inaugural CCS matchup between the two squads. After taking a slim 37-34 lead into the halftime break, the Hawks utilized a 20-4 run in the early stages of the second half to run away from the Eagles, claiming an 86-71 victory.
Huntingdon's 17-0 Game-Opening Run Makes Way For Massive Conference Victory
Coming off a two-point road victory at Piedmont, Huntingdon men's basketball faced the Covenant College Scots for their second consecutive conference matchup on the road. Boosted by a hot shooting night that saw the Hawks convert on 58% of their tries from the field, Huntingdon jumped out to a big lead early and never looked back, claiming a 103-74 victory.
Hawks Claim Narrow Victory At Piedmont
Looking to move to 2-0 in conference play following their 9 point victory over LaGrange at home, Huntingdon men's basketball traveled to Piedmont University for a match with the Lions. After jumping out to an 11 point first half lead, the Hawks were outscored by 9 points in the second half, but BJ Brown converted on three out of four tries from the free throw line to hand Huntingdon the 76-74 victory.
Jackson Catches Fire Late As Huntingdon Defeats LaGrange In CCS Opener
Coming off a neutral site victory over Luther, Huntingdon opened up CCS play in 2025 by hosting LaGrange. In a game of runs, Martise Jackson went a perfect 3/3 from behind the arc in the second half to ice the game and give the 11-2 Hawks their first conference victory of the season over the 4-9 Panthers.
